the idea of confluences is that the world is made up of points where latitude and longitude intersect ... and that these points need to be documented.

for canada, new brunswickers and pei'ers are, to use a technical cartographical term, shit out of luck: their province's points are already found and documented.

the rest of us have dozens still to find.
