You know, somewhere along the line someone put this idea in my head that there has been this steady upward movement in ethics and social organization, and that this improvement was discernable over a period centuries if not decades. I wish I knew who it was who put that silly idea into my head, so that I could find a way to put them in a ring with a lion, or perhaps even the remaining members of Yang Sihamoni midget fighting league.

I would sell tickets.

Ahh nice. Well then, all I did was look for the April 1 date.

But that doesn't necessarilly change the content of my first comment. Perhaps it even reiforces the point.
