Unfortunately, I checked the site out and worse, watched a video that the perpetrators of this vomitorious spew had posted on the site. I would caution anyone who found the pictures posted in the "Butchered" thread disturbing not to repeat my error. There are no words to described the loathing and contempt that this site inspired... Are there no laws governing internet content? I'm gonna start making feminist sites aware of this and recommend that others do the same. Sickening, and I'm pretty hard to offend (at least I thought I was). SH, can you pm me the host name? I'd like to complain and include them in any communications about the site that I make to other interested parties. [ 01 April 2004: Message edited by: Sisyphus ]

I just clicked on the link, and the site is down. I don't know if it's just a normal temporary down-time thing or if the service provider yanked it. If it's as bad as you're saying, hopefully the latter.Oh, I spoke too soon. It's up. P.S. Welcome to babble, ShariHarris! [ 02 April 2004: Message edited by: Michelle ]

Reminds me of Patriarchy Online--I wonder if that site's still up?Personally I think it's best to ignore them. It's way too easly to pour all of your energy into a few extreme morons like these ones, instead of issues that affect huge numbers of men and women and are more under our control or influence--like pay equity, family law, parental rights and benefits, etc. I know it's hard, but say, best case scenario, you get the guy's site shut down. What happens then? He relocates it to a new server and convinces himself that he really is fighting the overwhelming power of Political Correctness--that he is, in fact, on a holy mission and can't give up now! I've met people like this online before. YOu can't shut them up. They just pop up in new locations--like fungi.
