Michelle, with all due respect (and I mean it sincerely) Jeff House may or may not have had a legitimate case but he certainly felt libeled and put upon. He is permitted to react. Heaven knows me and others have been targeted here for our support of Israel even though I (and most of the others I noted)at least have noted on a number of occassions that opposition to the Occupation and want to very much find the needed answer to an eventual two-state solution.

Problem is that those like me (and to a certain extent Jeff and ohara maybe evernon and a few others)are constantly fingered and negatively attacked. Why ? Because we support a 2 state solution. Because we believe that there are always 2 sides to a dispute. Because while we acknowledge that some Israeli policies are ugly even brutal we see the region in context and try to find a needed balance of understanding.

Petsy you're shit disturbing. Cut it out. I know you'll be very put upon by the accusation, and I'm sure you'll do a very credible injured innocence routine, (hell, I'm probably doing you a favour here by playing to your strengths so) but so be it. This thread serves no purpose.

Actually, I was going to comment on the old thread but didn't get to. I'm sure as hell not putting it here, but I may discuss with Michelle opening the old one to post it.
