I went to the poorly attended debate for the poorly attended byelections in Vancouver-Burrard and Vancouver-Fairview. The Fairview candidate for the BC Liberals, McDiarmid, really encapsulated what I don't like about the Campbell government. When people asked about affordable housing, or poverty, she said that tax cuts would give people money for that. My eyes rolled right into the back of my head.

Taxcuts are only good if one earns income and below a certain level of income the taxcut may buy you a cup of coffee.
One can understand why the liberals lost both bi-election.
