Whether it's sports, academics, beauty pageants, or VH1's I know My Kid's A Star" - I get concerned when adults pressure children to achieve for the parents' financial gain, emotional gratification, and for their status. I love my child for who they are, not because I think my child is a psychic, or has ESP, is good at math, or is a great composer. I certainly am not interested in exploiting the personality, the traits, or unique characteristics of my child; and I am not interested in producers, advertisers, networks, and the "psychic" adult celebrities, in profiting from exploiting children.
