"Punctuality is my feminism," Lt. Emma Stein cooly declares in the first moments of "Pugilist Specialist."

Her voice is halting, rigid and almost startled, moving at a speedy pace. Stein is recovering from a scandal that is never fully explained. It is clear, however, that she wants to shake her reputation.

Stein's (Stephanie Viola) quest for recognition beyond her gender is at the center of "Pugilist Specialist," a drama about women in the army that ultimately reaches for a more complex and probing portrait of the military.

Winner of numerous awards in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, "Pugilist Specialist" examines the mind and the interactions of a group of Marines who are sent on a covert mission to assassinate a powerful leader in an unnamed Middle Eastern country.

Moderators are human?!

You seem to be very busy starting threads, Audra. Aren't the threads that the rest of us start interesting enough?
