"RAMALLAH, WEST BANK — Disgruntled Palestinian gunmen sprayed bullets at Canadian and German diplomatic offices and a local bank Thursday night, but caused no casualties as all the buildings were empty at the time, Palestinian security officials said."

Yes, they're a bit pissy because of Peter MacKays treatment of them last week when he was in Israel.

Are you suggesting that it is a normal or reasonable reaction to start shooting if someone refused to talk to you?

MacKay did a bit more than refuse to talk to them.

In fact, I would say he acted as he did knowing full well there would be an esculation against Canada. Kinda fits the CPC agenda and all.

You're probably right but still, shooting is a rather extreme response.

(I am assuming that the Canadian building was the actual target).
