Thanks for posting this piece, Brebis. While it's grievsouly sad, it is also very illuminating. It's good to see the Guardian piece provided links to the Andrea Dworkin website and the "Lie Detector" maintained by Nikki Kraft, a recovering nudist activist who was constantly exploited by her male partner when she was in the so-called "naturist" movement.However, did you find it strange, as I did, that Andrea did not at any time discuss the financial or insurance aspects of her health care in America? She seems to have had full acces to services, but since she was a self-employed wiriter, she would not be covered by an employer's plan. She must have either been buying coverage privately, at great cost, or simply paying directly at even greater cost.
