This says it all.

It's interesting to note the hypocrisy of the developed countries' representatives as they decry the evil effects of global competition.

According to the corporate bullies, globalism is supposed to be self-explanatory. We must bow before the economic gods, and never question the authority of their version of free market.

Globalism is E-Trades, cell phones, McDonald's, designer coffees, plastic things bought on the web. Beneath the glitz, it;s the globalisation of poverty, a world where most people on the planet never have access to telephones and don't make enough money to feed them and theirs. It's a world where tens of thousands of children die from the shits every day because the IMF will exact a pound of flesh from each of them before spending on basic infrastructure can even be considered by their corrupt leaders, hand picked by the west.
