In this weekend's Globe books section, there is an excellent piece by Leo Panitch on May Day. Panitch is probably Canada's best-known radical political scientist. I have it and can post it (it's not online), but that would probably be in violation of copyright.

Is it interesting that May Day, a day of many traditional celebration, falls on the first day of the Christian Orthodox Easter. Or am I just bored.
