There is a plan to collect feminist books and journals of the last decade for the re-building of the Baghdad University women's studies library. This project is spearheaded by 'Act Together' (an organization founded by Haifa Zangana) and Women Living Under Muslim Laws (an internationally powerful and reputable NGO advocating for the rights of women in the Middle East).

If you would like to make a contribution towards this important project through donating books or journals on relevant feminist topics, please bring them to the Institute of Women's Studies and Gender Studies and leave them with Angela Fleury at Wilson Hall, New College, U of T, 20 Willcocks St. Room 2036.

For more information call 416-978-3668.

Books can be purchased at Toronto Women's Bookstore. We will have a donation box at the front desk to collect books for this project.

Deadline for donations is December 31, 2004.
