Canadian media have done just about everything except kiss the feet, in awe, of every Londoner for their composure and restraint in the face of what now appears to have been suicide-bombings on the London Tube.

But news straight from BBC News internet pages and other online media show a less glowing portrait (as indicated below).

Israel has been a victim of terrorist attacks against civilians for over 40 years. By now, at the same rate of revenge acts currently being witnessed in England (and other places in the Anglo Celtic world), there ought to be no mosque left standing in that Mediterranean country. But of course Israelis don't deserve credit....their job is to receive every possible slight of contempt from the many morally superior English at the feeding frenzy trough (you can read Angolo Canadians in this too) . So now....have a look below...before you too are tempted to fall on your knees in rapturous beatitude.

"The MCB received approximately 30,000 hate e-mails immediately after the bombs, though it is thought most were from a small group of agitators.

Warning Muslim neighbourhoods could face a backlash, the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) said police were patrolling near places of worship.

There have been reports of attacks on mosques in London, the Midlands, Merseyside, Yorkshire and Bristol."

"However, since attacks on London, incidents reported by individual police forces have included arson attacks on mosques in Leeds, Belvedere in Kent, Birkenhead in Merseyside and Telford in Shropshire.

Acpo said these attacks had caused "little damage".

The Muslim News has reported three further attacks on mosques, one in east London and two in Bristol, and the Muslim Council of Britain has reported several attacks on mosques in north west London. "

The streets where revenge brews
Peter Wilson, Leeds (The Weekend Australian)
July 16, 2005
"THIS is just the beginning, this place is going to go off," Alex muttered as he glared at a group of English-Pakistani youths standing curiously beside a police cordon on a street corner in the Leeds suburb of Beeston.

A burley 37-year-old white man in a loose-fitting tracksuit and dirty T-shirt, Alex was not angry at the police over the disruption their bombing investigations were causing, but at the locals of South Asian descent he blamed for all the trouble.

Whites would soon be taking revenge on "the Pakis" in the rundown streets that produced three of the central London bombers, he said.

UK rightwingers plot revenge (The Daily Times)

LONDON: Plans by an alliance of rightwing extremists and football holigans to exact “revenge” on Muslims after last week’s bomings are being monitored by the police, reported The Guardian yesterday. The British paper said it had learned that “British extremists are keen to cause widespread fear and injury with attacks on mosques and high profile anti-Muslim events in London.” Football hooligans communicating over the internet have spoken of the need to put aside partisan support for football teams and unite against Muslims, said the paper. “Hooligans from West Ham, Millwall, Crystal Palace and Arsenal are among those seeking to establish common cause”

Muslims agonise over attacks (News 24.com)
13/07/2005 20:59 - (SA)

London - More than 100 alleged revenge attacks - including the killing of a Pakistani immigrant - have been reported since blasts in the heart of London now blamed on four young Muslims from Britain's Pakistani community.

There is no need for Joe Israeli to exact personal revenge, as all he need to is join the IDF to be part of the carnage that ensues. If the British Army were to tear down Muslim homes at the rate that the IDF bulldozes Palestinian ones, Bethnal Green & Bow would be rubble by next year.

Your writer has no knowledge of anything beyond polemics, otehrwise there is no way they could have written such absolute bullshit. Or they are simply lying. Pick one.

Amnesty International

quote:
More than 3,000 homes, hundreds of public buildings and private commercial properties, and vast areas of agricultural land have been destroyed by the Israeli army and security forces in Israel and the Occupied Territories in the past three and a half years. Tens of thousands of men, women and children have been forcibly evicted from their homes and made homeless or have lost their source of livelihood. Thousands of other houses and properties have been damaged, many beyond repair. In addition, tens of thousands of other homes are under threat of demolition, their occupants living in fear of forced eviction and homelessness.

Can you guess what is missing from this picture of a field?

Next time find a flag with fewer holes in it.

Can anyone find an instance of retribution, or even the threat of retribution, by any Brit for the funding of IRA terror-bombings by Bostonian "scumbags"? London was beset by backpack attacks, mortar and RPG attacks, and if memory serves, even a drone attack bankrolled by Americans. Lord Mountbatten was blown to smithereens, and Chuckie still couldn't connect the dots; he blamed his uncle's death on the IRA, but stayed mum on their fundraising in the USA.

Could someone explain the purpose of this thread to me?

Is it intended to compare peoples, to the advantage or disadvantage of one or the other? Is it intended to say that some sorrowing families have no right to sorrow because others elsewhere have worse sorrow (as if that were possible, given death)?

Why is the hostility focused on vulnerable and bleeding ordinary people anywhere, when all are victims?

If someone is feeling hostile, could s/he bother to turn his/her attention to those with the power and the money to shred human bodies?

And to anyone who would deny anyone else the right to mourn a shredded human body, I say *expletive deleted.*

Cueball's pictures speak louder than words. There are other forms of terror attacks that don't involve blowing up subway trains.

Well, I wrote my post obviously because I am angry to find that the title of this thread is sarcastic, is intended as sarcastic mockery of the British, as they mourn, by someone who wants to insist that Israelis mourn ... what? harder? more genuinely? better?

To me, this is an evil game. Any number can play. It could go on and on forever.

It is an evil violation of the minds of good people everywhere, and I protest the whole thread.

skdadl, I find this to be in extremely poor taste and will do nothing but cause hurt and a lot of nasty words.

There was another terrorist attack today on the subway system of London. We don't know how many people have died from this attack but it is safe to say that more Iraqi's have died today under the US occupation then have died in London today.
