Yes, it's kind of trivial, but after all the assasination jokes, I think we need a breather. If you know anyone who has travelled in Japan recently, please alert the more civic minded among them to keep a heads up:

Oh my, what if the unsuspecting passenger finds the bag 'o loot? How on earth will they dispose of the evidence??

P.S. Anyone who's gone through that airport and is caught by the cops in the near future can now legitimately point to this story and say "I had no idea! It must have been my random suitcase from this story. It was in the news!"

On the other hand, I am impressed By the Japanese authorities' candor. None of the whitewash, cover up, denial, "no comments", "official to respond is unavailable" that we are routinely fed in Canada.
