Your brother might try out a practitioner of "Health Kinesiology", which claim to be able to reduce or remove allergies. I have had some of mine reduced with similar techniques.Also, Vitamin C is a great antihistamine, and good for overall health as well. Powdered C can be found for cheap (try the larger pharmacies, or online). Some alt-health researchers suggest that cortizone creams will disrupt the body, causing longer term problems down the road. You might also try a negative ion generator for general feelings of well-being and removal of airborne dust particles. http://www.subtlenergy.com/allergies/cure_your_own_allergy.htm offers a free program that claims to show you how to remove allergies without the costs of seeing an actual practitioner. I d/l'ed a copy a year ago. Haven't tried it out yet, but have experienced no problems related to filling out the form (and you can always invent your own information if you are concerned)
