queerday reports: quote: Sam Brown, a student at Balliol College, was arrested and detained after he "verbally abused a police horse." Released the next day with a fine of £80, Brown was fined for "causing harassment, harm or distress," after repeatedly saying that an officer's horse was gay. A drunken Brown and his friends had encountered two mounted policeman and Brown asked, "How do you feel about your horse being gay?” The cop said his horse clearly wasn't gay - and after repeated comments Brown's offer of an apology to the horse was rejected and he was handcuffed and taken by the officers to the police station.
