I lost my first career when the NDP came into power in BC. I was a climber/surveyor for a major mining corporation that shut down all their operations when the gov't changed.
Hmm. I thought you conservatives always blamed the unemployed themselves for losing their jobs.
Oh, but wait. When it comes to you, it's anybody else's fault but your own.
So what is it? Do people lose their jobs because of strictly personal factors, or do they lose their jobs because of factors beyond them and beyond their control?
If you have to admit the latter you also have to admit that blaming the unemployed for being unemployed is possibly counterproductive.
