Sure, it's what they're doing to puppies that's despicable. Stick to the brown people and the mainstream media doesn't care, boys.

You shouldn't criticize mistreatment of dogs unless at the same time you criticize the dogs for defecating on park grass and barking at all hours.

So, it's a joke?
Psychopathy and cruelty to animals are strongly associated, a finding that casts doubt on the widespread notion that opposition to cruelty to (nonhuman) animals and opposition to cruelty to human beings are somehow mutually exclusive. I find myself quite able to oppose cruelty to human beings and cruelty to animals. In fact, I find it morally impossible to hold either position without the other.

It's pretty troubling that whenever stories of animal cruelty come up here, there's a knee jerk reaction over the contrast over lack of similar outrage for evil done to people..
Sure people get worked up over animal cruelty, when some of those same people don't give a damn about other human beings, but that doesn't detract from the evil being done. Neither group has done anything to deserve this.

More ugliness. I actually posted a video here back in 2004 of US soldiers randomly shooting a dog.
More interesting here is the psychology of the soldiers. It seems they are sending a message about what they are doing. There is a real need for soldiers to have people understand what they are doing and where they are at, and this is in a sense a kind of admission of darker things.

I kind of see it like that, too. They are, in effect, saying, "we torture and kill the vulnerable and the innocent".

It was clearly a terrorist insurgent puppy that was a threat to freedom-lovers everywhere.
