heavily bureaucratic organization can crush initiative and contribute to negative emotions that can have a serious impact on employee productivity and performance, Mr. Hornstein said in an interview from his Ottawa office.

Put your head down, don't question anything and for heaven sake, obey orders and do what your told. No wonder productivity is dead in this country. We're manifesting stagnate wages, longer hours, a frantic work pace and will only start to erode our standard of living.

This is the failure of leadership of our government and corporate leaders who are more committed tax cuts, budget cuts, free trade and privatization than innovation, creativity and investment.
