So let's see. Granted most out-of-state couples wouldn't bother journeying back to Vermont to dissolve a union their home state doesn't recognize in the first place, so we can't claim the divorce rate is only 1% after 5 years. So if we assume all the divorces were Vermonters that would make it a whopping 6.9%

is the divorce rate of Baptist Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, all of which are more than double that of Massachusetts.

There have been two divorces in Canada after two years. Most straight people have more divorces than that in their own family.
