The early count in first round of Indonesia's presidential elections seems to suggest that indicted war criminal General Wiranto has been eliminated after a third-place finish with 22% of the votes counted. The run-off is expected to pit incumbent Megawati Sukarnoputri (26%) against "reformist" general Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (34%), her former security minister and the favoured candidate of the US government.
