It is my understanding that there will be a general election in Spain this March. This will be interesting because as far as I know this is the first major election in a country that backed the U.S. in the Iraq invasion.

I am curious to see if the governing party pays the price for participating in Iraq with most of the population dead set against it.

Anyone with insight into Spanish politics that can add to my speculation?
