This is to post a piece by Colm Toibin, discussing a recent Report on sexual abuse by priests in Ireland. It's interesting on several levels, or in several ways: on Ireland, of course; on the machinations of the Church on this issue; for the personal perspective, in a small country, of someone who knows many of the public names despite not being personally involved; and, finally, simply as writing.
