Police are warning the public about the growing problem of high-tech peeping toms. Voyeurs have been installing tiny hidden cameras in rental apartments, dressing rooms and public places.
The so-called "spy" cameras, some as small as the end of a pencil, can be hidden just about anywhere -- including everyday household items like lightswitches, clocks and lights.
A camera no bigger than a loonie features a wide-angle lens and a microphone and captures your every move in crisp colour.

I get those annoying pop-ups for these teensy cams when I go to certain sites. I didn't think anyone is actually buying these things. I usually stay out of debates about pornography but I have to say that I think this practice of toilet cams, dressing room cams etc is VILE. Canada has no voyeurism laws. If you find images of yourself trying on bras at the local department store, you're SOL.
One would think that in a society that is chock full of people accepting money for doing porn and giving permission for the publication of those images, that this wouldn't happen.
