The Confederation of Haitian Workers has started up a new website. The Website should help current organizing campaigns and play an educational role for many. Canadians, for example, may not know that the Canadian government, in addition to training and financing police atrocities against the Haitian citizenry, also pays to try and co-opt key Haitian trade unionists.

... in the early 2000's CTH successfully dodged attempts by US and Canadian government financed "labor" groups who were engaged in a strategy of co-opting key organizers within trade unionist ranks.

above from Haitianalysis.com

The website looks to be a good expose of the current neo-liberal atrocities being carried out against Haitian workers for the benefit of a tiny percentage of the population and foreign, including Canadian, capitalist interests.
