Just wondering if any other babblers have participated in this program. I did the India/Alberta exchange in 1990-91. Been feeling a bit nostaligic for those days lately.

For any other babblers who are between the ages of 17-21 and interested in world travel, sustainable development and cultural exchange I would encourage you to check this program out.

HI,

I participated in the 93/94 exchange in Alberta/Indonesia.

What a wonderful program. I don't konw if I'd term my memories "nostalgia", but I can certainly say that it changed my world view and my life for the better.

I'd encourage anyone to sign up for the program as well, as it's a terrific opportunity to go beyond what you would normally experience!

My older brother did the BC/North India exchange in '95(?). He, unfortunatly, found the conduct and interpersonal politics of his Canadian co-travelers to be embarrasing.
Then again, he was a semi-experienced traveler before he joined the exchange while most of his fellows were new to the international thing. Maybe it was just a bad group, but he was soured by the experience.

I participated in CWY-JCM a long time ago. At that time, exchanges were not province-country of exchange. They were Canada-country of exchange. Thus in the Canadian group, we had participants from Québec, N.S, BC, Ontario, NB, Manitoba, Alb. and Sask.

I met my spouse in Canada World Youth and we are living ever happy after
