i'm wondering what Iran's President is referring to when he says he'll "announce something" on August 22.

it's not like Apple announcing the new Mac Pro.

i doubt that they would announce August 22 as a special date for a military parade.

i also doubt that Iran will attack Israel or the US, because to do so would invite a massive counter-attack.

i'm wondering if Iran is planning a nuke test, or the test of some other military device, for that day.

August 22, from what i read, is a special, notable day, either in Iran or the Muslim religion.

oh well, no major rush to predict what's coming, it's only 4 days away, and their might be a date-line in between the Pacific Coast & Iran, maybe it's just 3 days.

for people that are students of Iran, can you interpret Ahmadinejad's statement about August 22 ?

You're being a bit too mysterious about this. On July 20, Iran announced that it would reply formally on August 22 to a Western package of incentives offered in exchange for stopping production of weapons-grade uranium.

August 22 is the last day of the month in the Persian calendar. It would be no different if we said "we'll give you an answer by the end of the month."
