I got a call from somebody who said they were with the "Democratic party in Sacramento", a telephone poll. I said, "I'm on the do not call list for a reason". They said, "oh everybody loves to hear from us".
My initial reaction - I'm happy to get up from my desk for a real phone call, but not a solicitation - was "no way I'm voting Democrat".
Well now, it's no big deal, but it did make me wonder if the Repugs' in California are making calls posing as Democrats.

Do you have caller ID information? If you do, you could check into who actually was at the originating number. Would be worthwhile to see if Repubs are digging deep into their dirty tricks barrel now that McCain is 15 points behind.
