the more I try to follow British politics, the more I am interested:Plaid pledge to build new Wales I find it very intriguing that the party system in Britain is really shaping quickly. One has the Scottish Socialists, Plaid Cymru in Wales, and the Liberal Democrats all to the left of "Labour." I find it really fascinating.

The LibDems aren't really left of Labour...They're just more socially liberal and more Euro-centric than America-centric. I hope they do well next election, because the U.K. needs such a voice to hold the balance of power unless the left can somehow oust control of Labour from the Blairites. But both the SNP and the SSP, along with PC, are left of Labour.
