With all the talk about the American military casualties in Iraq (which reached over 1000 in the past couple of days), people are forgetting that there are OTHER troops over there.

This site is heartbreaking, but it's thorough.

And other people forget that over 10,000 Iraqis have been killed.

How much more freedom can these poor people endure?

And of course we *never* see reporting about what rate Iraqis are still dying of disease from nonpotable water, increased cancer and birth defect rates, and malnutrition-related problems.

After all, less clean water is available even than during the sanctions, unemployment is at 80%, and I have this suspicion that the food distribution system isn't working *quite* as well as it was back when there was a government.

Let's see now. Whose client was Iraq at that time again? I forget.

Oh I remember now.
