I think the interviewer should have had some merry sport with this."So, you're saying the Kuran doesn't apply in New Zealand??" "Oh, of course it does!" "So then you're saying we should be stoning homosexuals — murdering them — because the Kuran says so?" "Oh no, not at all!" "So then you are saying the Kuran doesn't apply in New Zealand..."

I suppose that making your subject look like a right ass doesn't help when you're trying to round up new subjects.[related] I always used to wonder why people let themselves be interviewed on 60 Minutes. Okay, so your toy company made a shoddy toy that killed 3 kids and saved you money. Do you really think they're not going to humiliate your greedy ass? What kind of disconnection with reality made you agree to this?? [/related]
