Money at 24 Sussex? And the tax payer not invited, again.

quote:
"Finalement, documents en main, je compte bien être en mesure de les aider à identifier la source de grandes quantités d'argent comptant rapportées au 24, promenade Sussex, alors que M. Mulroney était premier ministre du Canada."

That line has spurred a significant amount of coverage in Quebec, this morning, including on the front page of La Presse. They are calling it a bombshell, because it is.

In effect, Spector is saying he hopes to help MPs on the Ethics Committee identify the source of "great quantities of cash" that were brought to 24 Sussex Drive when Brian Mulroney was Prime Minister of Canada.

ETA: Sorry, mods. Wrong topic.

And why did Norman Spector keep silent for more than a decade ?

Hard to find people who stand for integity when there are so many competing interests: Jobs, pensions, appointments and so on.
