After six days of intensive searches, rescuers have not found any sign of Mr Fossett's plane, but they have spotted six planes which crashed in the desert in earlier years.

I honestly didn't care about this story until I heard about this.

With the US deficit growing, a huge trade imbalance, wars, poverty, bankruptcy on a massive scale, the American media is tripping over itself to find ONE person.

What really underscores this is the fact that they've found 6 other planes, clearly without anyone important aboard, or they would have continued looking for them.

I'm not saying Fossett shouldn't be looked for, but this is another clear example of the double standard that the rich live by one set of rules and we don't care about the rest.

And this is even more apparent because clearly these other plane crashes weren't underclassed poor people, they were likely well off to begin with.

Even better

Apparently all those crash sites are a 'bother' to the rescuers now.

Perhaps if they'd looked for them earlier those dead people wouldn't be such a nuisance in finding rich people.
