This site has a nice visual representation of just how much executive compensation exceeds what ordinary workers are paid in different countries. Quite interesting, if not surprising.

Indeed. Very nice. I notice that the Venezuela one is a bit of a misprint; should be 500 times.

It's interesting to notice that Canada's differential is so much smaller and comparable to that for Western Europe and Japan. It makes one wonder at the gaping maw that separates our two countries' cultural precepts these days.
