This book is a dark take on the gritty inner-urban reality of Parkdale, Toronto, Canada. It includes histories of local heroes and villains, the old Toronto Asylum, famous alienists and psychiatrists, etc. If you like satirists like Burroughs and Celine, you will probably enjoy this book.
