Isn't our social fabric straining a bit these days? I am seeing permanent sneers etched on some screen names. "Drive-bys", "gas on the fire", that dreaded Kool-Aid... the rhetoric is spinning it wheels, running out of profanity and nasty metaphors... Could we collectively brainstorm new subtler or funnier emoticon concepts than that hackneyed , and then someone could import appropriate illustrations from the various banks of such pics? They don't have to be maudlin either, something like "Go read a book", for instance, would be refreshing compared to what I have been seeing...
